This DIY Rose Room Spray is incredibly simple to make and wonderfully uplifting and refreshing. It requires just a few minutes and a couple of ingredients, and its fragrant yet soft rose scent provides instant aromatherapy in any room.

Made with simple natural ingredients, you can spray it on linens like your bed or couchβ€”and it’s even safe and gentle enough to mist on your face and body!

I like to keep a little spray bottle of this Rose Room Spray by my desk when I make it because it always puts me in a better mood!

How to Make Rose Room Spray

To make this room spray, you’ll need 6 ounces of either rose water or rose tea (I find that both work equally well in this recipe!).

To make rose tea (if using), simply steep 2 tablespoons of dried rose petals in 6 ounces of boiling water for 10 minutes, then strain out the rose petals.

This room spray also calls for two tablespoons of witch hazel. Feel free to experiment with different witch hazel scents if you’d likeβ€”I used cucumber witch hazel for this recipe, and the combination of cucumber and rose was absolutely amazing!

I love this simple room spray as is, but you can also add a few drops of essential oil for extra fragrance if you prefer. Other floral scents, such as lavender essential oil, or citrus scents like bergamot would work well here. Have fun and get creative!
