Uplifting Grapefruit Body Scrub

I’ve been eating a lot of delicious, juicy oranges and grapefruits lately--and feeling so grateful that citrus season coincides with the winter where I live. Peak citrus season is from December through May here in the U.S., providing some much-needed edible sunshine to help with winter blues for those of us in colder climates.

I love making this Uplifitng Citrus and Grapefruit scrub this time of year when the days are gloomy and cold, and it’s a wonderful way to make use of some of the leftover peels from the grapefruits I’ve been enjoying.

Thanks to the amazing combination of invigorating grapefruit and sweet, floral jasmine, this scrub smells AMAZING. Grapefruit and jasmine essential oils are often used in aromatherapy for their mood-boosting effects--so this scrub really does smell like happiness in a jar!!

It’s perfect for gently exfoliating your skin in the shower or bath, and you can also keep it by your sink to use as a hand scrub. I hope you love it as much as I do, and that it earns a spot as part of your winter self-care routine!
